xikers brought their second world tour, “Road to XY: Enter the Gate”, to Chicago’s Rosemont Theatre. The boy group debuted under KQ in 2023 as the successor to K-Pop giant ATEEZ. The 10 members of xikers – Minjae, Junmin, Sumin, Jinsik, Hyungwoo, Junghoon, Seeun, Yujin, Hunter, and Yechan – have taken K-Pop by storm.

“Road to XY: Enter the Gate” departed in Seoul fresh off the release of their latest comeback, HOUSE OF TRICKY: SPUR, featured the title track “BREATHE” and boasted over one million streams across streaming platforms. The stages were filled with tracks from the House of Tricky album series, which follows the boys through a variety of different concepts and genres.

“Road to XY: Enter the Gate” also marks the first tour of xikers touring as a group of ten members. During xikers first showcase tour, member Junghoon was on hiatus with an injury. Needless to say, their second tour was an exciting time for both fans and the band.

The stage opened with the explosive tracks of “XIKEY” and “Red Sun,” accompanied by xikers incredible dance and rap skills. The first stage ended with the group’s rap team performing their pre-debut track “CANVAS”, back when xikers was still known as KQ Fellas 2. Each individual member had a chance to show off their respective skills. The vocal unit showed off their impeccable vocals with an emotional cover of Justin Bieber’s “Holy,” while the dance unit performed a seductive cover of Tkay Maidza’s “Ring-a-Ling.”

The second and third stages were filled with the aforementioned tracks from House of Tricky, including fan favorites like “Every Flavor Jelly” and “DO or DIE.” The show “ended” with xikers debut song “Tricky House,” an explosive EDM track with even more impressive choreography.

Of course, the boys had to come back for an encore. The last few songs of the night showed off a more sentimental side of xikers, with tracks like “Sunny Side” and “Moonwalk,” an unreleased track written by Minjae for the fandom, known as roadYs. Before performing their final song, the members mentioned their gratitude for roadYs’ support and their excitement of finally touring with all ten members.

The show officially ended with an outstanding performance of their latest title release, “BREATHE,” a noise track that has left fans excited for what’s to come next.

“Road to XY: Enter the Gate” is a must-see tour for K-Pop fans. xikers have presented an impressive show of dance, rap, vocals, passion, and fresh music. If you missed “Road to XY: Enter the Gate” in Rosemont, no need to worry, you still have chances to see xikers in Atlanta, Dallas, and LA.
