K-Pop superstar TEN brought his first-ever solo US tour to Chicago’s Cermak Hall at RADIUS.

Since starting his Idol career in 2016, TEN has been featured in NCT, WAYV, and SUPERM before officially debuting as a soloist in 2024. The release of his first mini-album, TEN, came with praise from both NCTEZENS (NCT Fandom Name) and new fans alike, with the music perfectly blending NEO (a word used to describe the sound of NCT’s music) sound with his own performance style.

The tour announcement came shortly after TEN announced he was leaving SM Entertainment and the release of his first English single, “OUTWEST,” under his new start-up company, ILLIMNT. The tour was a huge win for NCTEZENS, as TEN hasn’t toured in the States since SUPERM’s run in 2019-2020.

The show opened with “STUNNER,” the title-track from the mini-album of the same name - and was followed by “Nightwalker” and “Birthday.” TEN’s tenure as an idol was on full display, with strong performances and POV through every song on the setlist - both his vocals and energy were on full display.

Each stage showed off a different side of TEN, with “ON TEN” showing off his more intense side and “Dangerous” showing off the sultry.

Throughout the stages, TEN was also able to show off his unexpected sense of humor, even demanding the audience be sad during his acoustic set, which featured deep-cut “New Heroes” from SM Station 2, and even an unreleased song that will serve as a single from his upcoming album.

The energy was brought back up to a 10 (pun intended) for the last stages of the night, featuring his most NEO song, BAMBOLA - an upbeat EDM track where TEN effortlessly switches between rap and his impressive vocals. The show officially ended with “OUTWEST,” the aforementioned new single - another flawless EDM track where he was able to showcase every member of his team including dancers, crew, and camera ops alike.

TEN is not one to miss, but if you weren’t able to make it out to Chicago, TEN will be finishing off his tour with stops along the East Coast in Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, and New York - before dropping his first full-length studio album!
