Rising singer-songwriter Stella Lefty is definitely an act to watch. The musician, known for her authentic songwriting and powerful vocals, is currently supporting fellow artist Alessi Rose on the North American dates of her For Your Validation Tour. Stella was born in Illinois and has been performing since she was just a child. In addition to pursuing music, she is a student at Tulane University.
Stella first gained online traction when she shared her original song, “from me to you - demo,” back in 2022. Since then, Stella has built up a fanbase on TikTok, which is where she posts original songs, covers, and other lifestyle content. In March of this year, she opened for Will Swinton and released the single “See Through.” Her most recent sets in New York City at Baby’s All Right opening for Alessi Rose showcased her charismatic stage presence, flawless vocals, and relatable lyrics. Stella played many of her original songs, including her latest single, “Cynic,” as well as a cover of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass,” which got everyone dancing and singing along. Stella did a fantastic job of building the energy in the venue for Alessi Rose, who took the stage shortly after.
Alessi’s set was both captivating and intimate at the same time. After beginning her time on stage with the upbeat song “IKYK” off her newest EP, for your validation, she launched immediately into rumination as ritual’s “eat me alive.” Getting to hear hits from both of Alessi’s EPs was a fun experience, and it was nice to see all of her fans singing along. One of the highlights of the evening was when Alessi covered Gwen Stefani’s “What You Waiting For?.” It seamlessly blended into the rest of the set and was the perfect choice both sonically and lyrically.
Stella’s rise to stardom has only just begun, and she is definitely an artist to watch! You can listen to all of her music wherever you stream your music now.
