NIghtly in Pittsburgh

My first impression of Nightly was them as an opener for the Struts in 2017. At that time, they had one EP out called Honest. Eight years and three albums later, they are headlining their own tour; stopping back in Pittsburgh at Thunderbird Music Hall. Lead singer, Jonathan Capeci, mentioned how far they had come from their formation as a band in Nashville. The crowd at the Thunderbird Music Hall happily gave their full support. Watching the crowd sing songs that were conceived over the subsequent years from being an opener years ago was inspiring. You could tell how grateful the crowd and band were. They were able to share a space years later together. Capeci said that the last time they were in Pittsburgh, the crowd was significantly smaller. Playing the Thunderbird with the support of three floors worth of people must have felt incredible.
