MARIS Lights Up Brighton Music Hall — A Night of Queer Celebration and Pop Catharsis

On a crisp September evening at Brighton Music Hall, the bright lights on stage and the hum of anticipation in the crowd evoked the feeling of something special about to unfold. The stage design struck a balance between minimalist and magical: shimmering accents, moody lighting, and a few well-placed props letting silhouettes dance between spotlight and shadow. Early on, MARIS and Carol Kingsbury invited the audience to settle in, hinting that this would be a shared experience.

“Give me a Tour” is less a conventional pop concert and more a daring, playful communion — a place where identity, vulnerability, and joy coalesced into something memorable. The setlist included fan favorites “Give Me A Sign,” which went viral online and made this tour possible.

Another favorite moment was when both artists performed a cover of “Pink Pony Girl.” Everybody was singing out loud and proud. This moment said: you belong here. This is your stage too.

By the end of the night, MARIS was on the bar singing songs and fans left wanting more. If you want to catch this iconic duo, find tour details here.
