The Benedum Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is notorious for having live theater and musicals so it was to everyone’s surprise when Lucy Dacus had announced this theater as a location on her Forever Is A Feeling tour. It ended up matching the energy of her show perfectly. The just under two hour performance had high energy moments like when “Best Guess” played and Dacus officiated seven marriages or slower moments like when “Lost Time” played towards the show’s end.

The grand and ornate nature of the Benedum Center matched Dacus’ set perfectly. She had large screens that mimicked frames for paintings, displaying art throughout the decades. The acoustics of the facility did not disappoint either. You could tell Dacus’ microphone was ON. Passion and nostalgia were at the forefront of her performance and palpable throughout. She is not an artist to miss if you are looking to experience a performance on love and loss.
